Ron was very direct every step of the way. My case was challenging and he was clear about my options as well as possible outcomes. Jessica was very patient with me not understanding parts of information and was excellent at communicating updates. Both would answer any questions I had in a timely manner. The highest quality of service. They were professional, prompt, courteous, and overall very pleasant to work with. From the beginning I felt like I was in good hands. Admittingly they weren't my only call in initially seeking representation, but they were the ONLY one who offered their services without hesitation. A phone call or email was always met by Jessica or Ron. Each contact was deliberate, meaningful, and progressed us further in my case. Truly a great experience and their customer service was excellent.

Langacker Law insisted on an initial retainer of $10,000 to start, a minimum of a 33 1/3% contingency that would increase to 40% if the case went to trial, and I as the client would be responsible for all legal fees. When I shared the specifics of the hybrid contract draft with trusted employment law attorneys across the country, I was advised that the request from Langacker law was ridiculous. Second, the attorneys confirmed my initial thoughts that employment law cases are usually contingency. The contract was layered with stipulations in where Langacker Law could dissolve the contract. None of the stipulations required reimbursing the 10 grand. Once I shared my concerns, they emailed back stating if you think the hybrid contract is ridiculous then you are welcome to find another attorney. This was disappointing. They agreed not to charge for the initial counsel intake. Considering that they are listed by the Illinois bar association as offering a free counsel intake, I would surely hope not.

The 1 stars are absolutely deserved. It seems that they enjoy being as a rude as possible all the way until someone rudely hangs up on you. If you're into that type of treatment you can get that here.

I called his office and he was rude and unhelpful. They want me to do all the work for them and still pay them $10,000. I didn't retain them because of and based on this situation I would highly recommend you try another law firm. This one only wants shotgun cases that anyone can win.
