Attorney Simmons did not take our case seriously while acting as our guardian ad litem and my children are suffering further abuse and neglect because of it. She cared more about a dog in her office than she did paying attention to my concerns for my children's welfare and safety. Edit to reply to response: how can you say that when you blantantly disregarded police and DCFS records and told me I just need to suck it up and co-parent with an undeniably abusive person? Your recommendation is that my children who come home battered, bruised and begging me not to make them go to his house are totally fine in the other parent's care and that I am just bitter and unreasonable? You failed my children, period.
