I expepended $ 2,000 for nothing! he said he will help me to reduce my child support and other matters and he did not help me at all , totally unhappy with my results! my advice if you can negotiate with the other party do it try to stay away from courts specially Ottawa court and attorney's you will safe tine and money if you can stay away from what I mentioned before and if you can negotiate with the other party! good luck!

Eric and his crew has been amazing through this whole process and has explained everything to the T. I would HIGHLY recommend his and his crew to serve you in whatever you'd need. Very professional and very understanding! Would def use him in the future if needed again!

My experience with Eric Miskell was very disappointing. He was extremely difficult to get ahold of, rarely answered my questions, and offered little to no guidance or advice. I ended up doing most of the work myself--gathering and preparing everything--just for him to present it in court. When I brought concerns to him, he dismissed me by saying he wasn't a therapist, rather than giving me professional direction. I would not recommend Eric Miskell if you are looking for an attorney who is responsive, engaged, and willing to truly advocate for you.

Steer clear of Eric Miskell. At first, he's good, then all he wants is money. I paid him to go to trial once, and it never happened. If you want any personal property back, good luck; he doesn't fight for that, he doesn't care. Anytime you need something done, he needs more money. Even after my divorce was finalized, and I had questions, he and/or his paralegal did not answer me. I even sent a certified letter to his office and still received no reply. All he kept saying during the process was, "Come on, let's get this done," like he was tired of my case. Then, there was a court date after my divorce where a motion was filed, and I was not informed or included. If I could rate him 0 stars, I would.

I am beyond grateful for the support and guidance I've received from Eric as I work through a complex process of transferring a case to another state. Navigating two different state legal systems that don't always align has been overwhelming at times, but Eric has been an incredible resource (lifesaver!). He has gone above and beyond to answer my questions, offer thoughtful legal advice, and help bridge the gaps in a way that has truly empowered me. Eric has been consistently prompt, professional, and compassionate - always providing clear, actionable guidance that empowers me to move forward with confidence. His friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable approach has made a stressful situation so much more manageable. I can't recommend him highly enough!
