Great people to work with. Very accommodating and the office is beautiful. The attorney was very informative and we feel we got some very good advice.

I had a pretty straight forward rental/tenant case. Alex represented me and was as informative and as knowledgeable as anyone could ask for. He was fair and to the point, has a great legal sense and knows what "should" hold up if things were to go to court. I highly recommend Benckendorf & Benckendorf and would easily have Alex be my representation again!

Would not recommend this firm or Alex for any legal issues. Alex was absolutely horrible with communicating during the two years that the case drug on. I felt that he knew all along how the case was going to go but strung us along with monthly bills that wouldn't stop. Any phone call or email was $41. Seek a different firm if you are looking for someone who provides great communication during the process.

Alex Davis filed a lawsuit against me over alleged non-disclosure of a clog in a sewer line when I sold my rental house. He did this even after I had given him a receipt for work done on the home prior to the sale to repair the issue at hand. I also told him that I never met or spoke to his star witness from Roto-rooter, and I even produced phone records of my own AND ROTO ROOTER's phone records that proved 100% that I never spoke to his star witness, as he had claimed. This "witness" from roto rooter claimed that he had spoken to me, and that I said things that I obviously did not say. Because of Alex Davis, I had to spend $20,000 in legal fees, and I did win the case, thanks to Kepple Law in Peoria Heights Illinois. If you want a solid lawyer with ETHICS, go to Casey Kepple in Peoria Heights. Steer clear of Alex Davis and Benckendorf Law.

Mr. Beckendorf comes right to the point and is not afraid to take his lawyer hat off for a moment. That way he can give real advice which is useful in the real world. His rates work $250 an hour, But he did not dilly-dally or ask how's your family but got right down to business and answered the questions which we needed answered, And went right ahead ahead and helped us transfer a deed to my sister. he did not waste any time coming to an answer so I believe that the value of his opinion is greater than one that asks how's your family and stuff that doesn't matter. He also does the paperwork exactly the way it needs done so you don't have to return and pay him to do it all over again. This is something that one of his competitors like she do to get more money. I would use his Services first if I needed something like that done again. Job very well done thank you.
