This law firm and their team of lawyers and staff are exceptional. I couldn't be more happy with the exceptional level of service but the outcome of my dismissed lawsuit. Initially when the process started, I was very overwhelmed. The whole situation was consuming me on a daily. While speaking with Rob Harrer on my consultation, not only was he patient and kind, he fully explained the whole process. He assured me that his team would handle my case and made me feel as if I was not alone. I spoke with 4 other firms prior to speaking with Rob and this was the only firm who didn't make me feel less than, quite the opposite. I left that call feeling composed and assured my best interests were taken into account. Throughout the legal process, the team handled absolutely everything. They made sure to communicate status updates. While the process is long, with no fault to the firm, just the legal process in general, the final outcome far exceeded my expectations. I retained this firm to handle a lawsuit brought by Midland Credit. They were able to secure a dismissal, which I acknowledge, but the experience that followed was disappointing, especially considering the cost of their services. A key part of the settlement required Midland to remove the negative account from my credit reports. The firm stated in writing that they would follow up with me within six weeks to confirm the deletion and would assist in pulling and reviewing my credit reports to make sure the account had been removed. That follow up never took place. Several months passed with no outreach and I still have not received the official dismissal letter from the court, even though I was told it would be sent to me once available. On top of that, the negative collection account remains on my credit report to this day, continuing to impact my score. When I contacted the firm for an update, I was given a different timeline than the one originally provided, and the level of support felt noticeably diminished once the case itself was over. The legal result was positive, but the lack of follow through on the settlement terms, including confirming the credit report updates and providing the official dismissal documentation, was frustrating and unprofessional. For the amount I paid, I expected consistent communication and accountability until every part of the process was fully completed. To be fair, their litigation work is strong; they handled the legal side of the lawsuit exceptionally well. However, if you expect attentive follow through after a settlement or dismissal is reached, be prepared to manage that part on your own. Once my case was closed and the payment was behind us, the sense of responsibility on their end faded. The firm did not hold Midland accountable for complying with the very terms they negotiated, even though I would have been held to every word had I violated the agreement. That imbalance is ultimately what shaped my experience and the reason for leaving a three star review. UPDATE 1 star review- After posting my initial review, the COO reached out. Instead of taking responsibility for the lack of follow through on the settlement terms they negotiated. I received excuses, pressure to move conversations off email, and ultimately an unsolicited, condescending message from the attorney who handled my case. When I professionally stated that I would be ending communication and pursuing other options, the attorney responded by talking down to me and misrepresenting facts. The litigation result was fine, but the post dismissal handling and professionalism were not. Once they are paid, the follow through simply is not there. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this firm to proceed with caution.
