In response to Mr. Baeza's review I offer the following. Mr. Baeza hired our firm to appear in court with him. We advised him to wait for the attorney in the courtroom and to advise the judge that he has a lawyer in the event his case is called before the attorney arrives in court. We explained that the attorney is in multiple courtrooms any given morning, so he may have to wait a short time for the lawyer to arrive in court. On Mr. Baeza's court, the attorney arrived in his courtroom a little while after the judge began the court call. The attorney was advised by the prosecutor that Mr. Baeza resolved his case on his own and did not tell the judge that he had a lawyer. After court, Mr. Baeza called our office requesting a refund of the small deposit he paid our firm. He was to pay the balance of our attorney fee in court. We politely explained to Mr. Baeza that we will not refund his deposit because one of our attorneys traveled to the courthouse for his court but Mr. Baeza chose to resolve the case prior to the attorney's arrival. We are not thieves! Sadly, Mr. Baeza's slanderous review of our firm does not reflect what actually transpired in our handling of his case.
