I would not recommend Deborah. She left us hanging for several days. We had to follow up with her multiple times to get her to have a conversation with us. We finally scheduled a time to speak. She didn't answer during the scheduled time and then sent us a text saying she couldn't take our case. When we responded asking if she had any recommendations for a new lawyer, she immediately read our message and didn't respond. It was very misleading and unprofessional.

Absolute worst experience I've had with anyone who was supposed to be "helping" me. Mrs Hawkins listened to my story and once she heard I was a single dad out of state she assured me I was in the right place. After my initial down payment everything changed , she was rude and aggravated during calls , had little knowledge of the case asked for the same things multiple times and impossible to get a hold of. I've complained to Illinois bar and highly recommend not using this office.

Ms. Hawkins and the entire staff were so professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Despite of her busy schedule, Ms. Hawkins would always reply to my email and/or phone call within same day whether it be late in the afternoon or on a Saturday. She kept me informed of my case and, when in doubts, she offered her valuable advice. She was down to earth and very patient with me. She made sure that documents were sent to me for reviews and approval. I really didn't expect much from my case, but with Ms. Hawkins' knowledge, experience and talent, the verdict turned out to be in my favor, and it was a win for me! She really represented us well. We were in desperate need of a fast acting attorney because of a deadline we were up against in a family matter. Deborah was indeed that attorney for us, she worked tirelessly and diligently to assist us with our case. Often she had little time to respond to objections from opposing council, she came through every time. Deborah was very informative of where the case currently stood, along with explaining our different options for ways to proceed with our case. We wouldn't have came out of our case with a positive result if it wasn't for Deborah's vast knowledge of the law. We would want her on our team every time!
