DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY!!! NO communication skills whatsoever. Hired Dave for almost 2k to handle my dui case and never talked to him again after submitting payment. Dealt with representative the whole time and had to call constantly to receive follow up from court dates. Almost had a warrant on my record because they didn't submit a certificate (send them it 9 months before the deadline and THEY didn't submit it). The circuit clerks office was WAY more help than fahrenkamp. Absolutely 0 help! DO NOT RECOMMEND WHATSOVER!

The other reviews indicating the poor communication are 100% accurate. Not only is the communication bad, but also noted in the other reviews he will drag the case out for years and run the cost up with no refund. I would not recommend using him, you will not get the time given to you that is needed with the work load he has taken on and he will admit to that after you pay your retainer. I am in a worse position now then when I hired him over 3 years ago.

Paid 2k t squash a false OP basically a monkey could have handled!!!! Got a injunction in my wife's favor and being told even though she is violating the injunction he can't do anything about it and I had to hire another attorney to file against her. His associates hang up on me every time I call to seek guidance and won't answer any emails DO NOT Hire this attorney if your seeking proper help and guidance. Way to expensive and doesn't help when needed. Gives no advice and only worries about money!!!!

By far the biggest waste of time and money. It all started by missing my very first court date and only to find out because I looked it up on casenet and his response being "I texted them to let them know." He didn't even enter his appearance as my attorney until after my first court date. Then from January of 2023 until May of 2023 I had zero communication after leaving multiple messages with his reception, texting and calling his personal phone.(which was provided to make this easier) I eventually contacted another attorney about taking my case. This attorney told me he would talk to Dave and informed him I was seeking new representation, that very day I received a call. Even after that phone call where I expressed my concerns and was promised it would be handled better, at this point not shocked a little bit, it was not. Every month that it was continued, I would call to ask for a reason with either the office not answering the phone or leaving a message with no return call. It got to the point where my calls were only getting answered if I used *67 on my number or used someone else's phone. It was beyond frustrating! My case got passed off in late fall of 2023 to Maria who was much more interested in dealing with my case. She was wonderful to work with, communicated semi-regularly and that is the only upside. It took 17 full months to close my case when I was told the day I met with Dave in December of 2022 "this will be settled before your first ever court date." Take your business elsewhere and save yourself a headache.

I would not recommend this attorney. As others have noted he does not communicate and makes plenty of false promises. If you do talk to him, he is quick to tell you he is working on other cases and makes you fell like your divorce and child custody is not a priority. His office does not send information you've provided for the case in a timely and professional manner. It will cost you more. I would not wish this attorney on my worst enemy or opposing side as you'll incur extra charges related to the constant follow up and no response or resolution.
