Athletico Physical Therapy - East Peoria

I've been coming to Athletico in East Peoria for a little over a year and a half, for a hand injury and every visit reminds me just how special this place is. Vicky is truly passionate and incredibly caring--she doesn't just guide you through your workout, she supports you, encourages you, and genuinely wants to see you succeed. Her positive energy makes such a difference, and you can feel how much she loves what she does. The staff all the way around is very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which creates an environment where you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. It's been an incredible experience from day one, and I'm grateful for the consistency, kindness, and motivation this team provides. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a supportive and uplifting community at East Peoria Athletico!

Victoria was absolutely amazing with my son! She was very friendly and made physical therapy fun for him! He looked forward to it twice a week & was sad that he was done! He feels 100% better without any pain! The other staff were all friendly as well and were all easy to have a conversation with! I highly recommend Athletico in East Peoria for children along with anyone else need any kind of physical therapy.

Incredible staff, and Zach helped me out a lot. Been dealing with headaches mainly due to poor posture from working at a desk. Exercises provided and dry needling has helped a ton! Thanks! and I will be back again!

I was referred to Zach Kirkpatrick at Athletico after a sciatica crisis that left me practically disabled for two weeks. As a fit, active, senior woman, this was a very discouraging time for me since I wasn't even able to do a bridge without firing the pain. At my very first appointment, Zach suggested dry needling. Miraculously, after this treatment, I was able to do three sets of 10 bridges! My elation, disbelief, and hope were instantaneous! Zack's Physical Therapy student, Dominic, proceeded to work with me at a level I knew I was ready for. I valued their ready acceptance of my knowledge about my own body and prior conditioning. I ended my PT at about 90% of my normal mobility and activity level. Dominic provided me with the detailed, three times per week, home program that I will certainly continue, along with my regular training. During the hard work and exercise, Zack and Dominic were also empathic, and their lighthearted, good humor created a fun environment. I should also mention that I had PT last year for a different issue at Midwest Orthopedics. That experience paled in comparison to this experience. I am so grateful that I found Athletico in East Peoria - 20 minutes further from my home but worth every mile!

Very positive and productive experience. Upbeat, fun staff. Worked primarily with Victoria Gruszka, who was great. A weekly onsite/at home program was created that targeted my back problem. Noticed good results after a couple of weeks. Back pain was reduced and strength and flexibility were really improved, to the extent that I was able to enjoy days that were fully back pain free. These people know what they're doing.
