I submitted a pretty extensive message online and spoke with a Bonnie Tubreville per the caller ID. She started asking me specific details of "how" I had a needle go in my neck, did I do it myself? She then said they couldn't help me, even though there is an office in Boulder. And recommended local, free resources. It's strange to me I explain that my son's life was threatened, mine was threatened, and then I was questioned if I put the needle in my neck later myself. And that she doesn't know and can't speak toward if I have rights here. I have "human" ones, but she couldn't speak beyond that. And that it was nice talking to me. Kendra Holtzinger followed up today with a letter recommending that while they are unable to take this case, I should find an attorney to address this immediately. I would like to leave this for others before they call. There are other attorneys that may be more willing to offer resources or less copy and paste / gas lighting to push off their work loads. If they're overwhelmed, they should state that so other attorneys in the area may be able to assist. Versus not acknowledging the fact that my son still hasn't really been acknowledged in all of this. It doesn't seem they have a whole lot of invested interest in civil rights or relationships with other attorneys who may be better equipped or experienced to assist in specific cases.
