I did a consultation and everything went well. In order to know if we had a case they needed a medical expert opinion which costs $2500. My family wanted answers so we paid for the review which was coordinated by their office. After a few months and me having to follow-up, I we received a letter from the medical expert that basically summarized the preliminary autopsy report which had a different cause of death than the final autopsy report. When I pointed this out to my lawyer they basically said they were done with the matter. We did get $500 back, but wasted $2000. When I reached out directly to the medical expert he said he would review the final autopsy report and provide an update later that week. After not hearing back, I called the medical expert and he basically said he works through the lawyer. Overall this made the worst experience of our life even more frustrating. Whether we had a case or not we were hoping for answers on the care of our mother.
