Mike and his team went above and beyond in working to settle my case after I was hit by a car while biking. I am legitimately shocked at the outcome (to the positive) after a lot of hard fought battles by the Keating team. A lot of firms would have settled earlier and I am incredibly grateful that they continued to fight for me. I hope that you never have to be involved in a motor vehicle collision but if you happen to be I cannot recommend them more.

I first was introduced to Mr. Keating during a deposition a few years ago as I was the court reporter responsible for creating the official record. Throughout the proceeding, Mr. Keating presented himself as empathetic and clearly focused on justice for cyclists - as the nature of the case was a cyclist struck by a vehicle who sustained major injuries. Fast forward to February of this year, I too was involved in an accident with an at fault driver while on my bike and spent several days in the ICU, having to undergo emergency surgery that resulted in several plates in my left forearm. On top of the trauma caused by the incident, I was unable to work for several months due to the nature of my injuries and my profession. After the initial shock wore off and I could make sense of what happened, the only name that stuck out in my mind for legal representation was Mr. Keating. I contacted him the same day I was released from the hospital. I spoke to the intake person, and by 9 a.m. the next day I received a call from Mr. Keating eager to get the ball rolling and wanted to know the details. He was again, empathetic of the circumstances and provided a clear path to what the next steps would be. During the entire process Mr. Keating responded to my frequent requests for updates and provided transparency. Midway through the process, Mr. Dassow, another attorney at Keating Law Offices became involved in the case. He was my point of contact up until the day the settlement was issued. It's important to note that even after the settlement is finalized and released, the attorneys work isn't necessarily over. There are future pending court dates which they remain fully engaged, even after being paid. I want to point out that Mr. Dassow was just as responsive and empathetic to my situation. He took the time to explain the many unexpected hurtles the insurance company were creating, and his plan on how to handle them. IF you live in Chicago, you know the large amount of injury attorneys that are available. And as a court reporter, I've personally encountered a large number of them, and can say without hesitation the team at Keating Law Offices are what other attorneys should strive to be. IF you're a cyclist on the streets of Chicago and you have an accident with a motorist, and need legal representation the only call you need to make is to Keating Law Offices.
