Beware of Geric Tipsword, associate attorney for Weller Law! I'm a former client and a military veteran who hired Geric to represent my divorce. If you love being ignored, patiently awaiting important advice, or being asked what your ex-wife would prefer....then Geric is the lawyer for you. Geric spends most of his time in Texas, the firm he started at. He was rarely available when I needed him preferring to spend most of his time in Texas and just collect fees for reading my emails asking for unanswered advice or simply trying to find him. He convinced me to accept a horrible "temporary" order that lasted 2 years. When I moved on to another attorney, I discovered I was grossly overpaying. Offsetting a review from the other party: I noticed a 2-star review left by someone who didn't even use this law firm . They were on the other side of the case. From my perspective as an actual client, that rating is ironically a positive sign. This attorney thoroughly reviewed the evidence, clearly understood the law, and maintained strong communication and clarity to the other side throughout the process. I felt supported and well-represented during a difficult time. Between both sides we are a 7/10- which is a passing grade. I'm adding the screenshot in case it disappears.
