Client Testimonials

Client

Avery Law is a complete fraud. We asked and were told many times that when we file our taxes, we get to keep the refund. When we received our refund, we used the funds to pay Avery Law in full. We are now being told, after they were paid in full, that we have to pay almost $3,000 for taxes. This law firm should be removed from ever being able to "help" anyone. Complete and utter mistake ever working with them. Highly recommend to never use ever. What a complete shame that they claim to help and really just screw people over. Any high rating is a complete lie.

I was incredibly impressed with Avery law. They had wonderful communication with me. When I first contacted them, I was in tears with all of the stress. They really reassured me and were helpful with my concerns and questions. When I met with the trustee, I felt even more impressed with Avery law. There were other attorneys not with Avery representing people. I had the impression they did not prepare their clients and had missing information. I felt extremely prepared with Avery Law. I felt prepared for the questions I was going to be asked and what steps I needed to take. I felt they were very thorough with obtaining all the necessary documentation. There were three other people that Avery represented including myself and all of our documentation was completed for the trustee. Everyone that Avery represented answered the questions asked by the trustee and it seemed as if the others were prepared as well. A friend of mine recommended Avery Law to me and she had only good things to say about them. I am really pleased I went with her recommendation as I felt my needs were taken care of. This is not an ideal situation to be in, but I would recommend them if you ever find yourself needing their services.

We have had a great experience with Avery law. I was pretty frazzled when going in and Tina eased my mind about the process. Both Ryan and Tina were very knowledgeable and friendly. Their prices are reasonable as well.

Client

I had originally had a pleasant experience with Avery Law, but after the bankruptcy was "completed" everything went south. Not only was it very difficult to get in touch with anyone about my case if I had questions, but during the actual court date my attorney wasn't even there and I was assigned a different attorney to represent me. I was told the judge would ask questions during the hearing, then my attorney would finish up the papers and I would be sent the paperwork at the beginning of January once the case was discharged, which did in fact happen. I made it VERY clear throughout the whole process that I wanted my car reaffirmed. The company I bought my car from took away online access for me to pay my bill because of the bankruptcy. From January until August I had been playing "guess what documents you need to get the bankruptcy removed from your account" between both my car creditor and my case manager for my bankruptcy. After a massive system error with my car creditor that made it so I couldn't even pay my bill, I come to find out that the attorneys at Avery Law didn't actually reaffirm on my car. That was the ONE thing that I had asked them to MAKE SURE they did, and they didn't. When I called my case manager about it, I was told that I was supposed to come in to sign papers to reaffirm my car after the court hearing, which I was NOT informed of before, during or after the hearing. I had told them that the National Bankruptcy Services reached out to them a long time ago about it, and the response I got was "we had a system error" and "because your case is discharged we can't do anything about it. Sorry." in a NOT nice way. I was absolutely blown away by not only the rudeness, but the carelessness of the whole thing. So now I'm left with the aftermath of the now 3 months behind car payments because the car company can't defer payments with an account with a bankruptcy on it. I then contacted my attorney who said he'd look into it and get back to me, and that never happened either. Overall, I'm not happy with my experience.
