When half of your five-star reviews are from "Local Guides" who just hit the 'five-star' button and don't leave any actual reviews... Because stacking the deck is the Eismann family "law" practice's only "legal" service. They talk a good game, which starts with the fact that the family's business has been around for so long that they depend on people just assuming that this longevity means something good. In reality, it means that Richard Eismann was sooo fake charming and manipulative that he'd lure families like mine into trusting him and retaining his legal counsel for the purpose of turning around and taking advantage of that trust, demanding excessive retainer fees AND then downright extortionist fees for simply doing his job whenever a deadline was looming. And good luck trying to appeal to his nonexistent reasonable side. Even questioning his practices unleashed all sorts of retaliation--including smear campaigning one member of my family, putting his job in jeopardy, bringing him to his knees so he felt like he had no choice but to pay a never actually agreed to fee AND a monthly interest that Dick punitively tacked on for not immediately paying this out of nowhere fee. I really tried to warn the parents of one of my students to steer clear of this sham show of a law firm, but they didn't...and sure enough, they said that the attorney they worked with, Dick's grandson Ryan Martinat, didn't fall far from the tree... And the person who commented on Debra Eismann being Cruella de Vil was spot on! I went to school with Debra and we've crossed paths as adults many times, and every time it's like some 40th reunion of Mean Girls.
