Very unhappy with the service I got here. They put more effort into getting your retainer than they do making you feel confident about your representation. I was concerned with discrepancies in communication by two people in their office. After I simply asked if it's possible to talk to Joe to clear things up, they terminated all communication with me but kept about 1/5th of my retainer and provided me with nothing that equated to that dollar amount. It really just felt silly of that office to do that but quick easy money for Joe. Luckily I found another attorney right away who I could talk to directly and there was no confusion in communication. A law office that conducts business like Joe's is just sketchy to trust.

I contacted this firm end of November I then reached out to secure them with promises of a call back for almost a week and no communication. The finally I got a call back informed they would speak to the attorney and let me know when we could move forward. A week ish later I got a call Nick would call me later that day and here we are almost a week in a half since with no contact. I was hopeful this was going to be the help and hope needed however they lack of communication, empty commitments and lack of follow through show me that I could not trust what is communicated when the basics of communication couldn't even be upheld from the jump. Not only am I disappointed but this set me further behind for what is needed to be done...

Make sure you read every line of the contract you sign with them. Because they do not give any of your retainer back. I was lead to believe otherwise. It states very clearly that they will keep it. This is my fault for not reading this contract, I admit it. And even after finally receiving my divorce decree they were sending me an email stating my account trust was getting low and I needed to replenish it back to the original amount...so they could keep it. Why would they do that? No wonder I am not fond of attorneys. Here we are waiting for this divorce decree so we can move on with certain aspects of our lives and they wait until the days end to send it to you. I found out from my ex that morning...not even them. Talk about poor communication. People work hard for their money...WORK being the key word here. I have never kept any money that I didn't WORK for. I am sure he will say his firms works reflects more of a 5 star review. You only have like 32 reviews out of how many clients that you took money from? Yeah!!!

First, I have to admit I was a very difficult client. I always wanted updates because the divorce process took almost 1.5 yrs, but that's because of my ex. These guys were great! James and his staff did a wonderful job, at times I was worried, but that's my own concern. Trust these guys with your divorce case. They know what they are doing. I highly recommend them! Thanks again James for everything you did for me!!!!!! I'm finally FREE ***Update*** The opposing counsel is giving push back even after the trial is over and its been a little over a month James is still going to bat for me...wow!! These guys are great!!! Use these guys for sure :)

I really appreciate Joe and everyone at Joe Frick Law for helping me through my divorce. They made sure I understood the legal process, always kept me informed of the status of my case, and were very transparent about the legal costs associated with my representation. Their level of service was always top notch. Joe is down to earth and great to work with, and I'm more than satisfied with his assistance and representation.
