We resided at our residence for 4 years and we needed a permit from the City of Caldwell for a carport. We found out that the road right in front of our house, which was the only way into our second driveway (where we wanted to put our carport) was NOT an easement, it was actually our neighbors ground property. For 4 years we thought it was an easement road.
