Warning!!!DO NOT USE BRAD MOODY. My boyfriend needed an attorney. His good friend was good friends with BRAD MOODY and asked for a favor from BRAD MOODY to represent my BF and BRAD MOODY agreed. They spoke of the reason for representation to which BRAD MOODY agreed to represent. Yes we read the reviews and were concerned about his reviews were but BF's friend, who knew BRAD MOODY for several years insisted BRAD MOODY would not let him down. Two days before BF had to appear in court he contacted BRADY MOODY. BRAD MOODY said all was good on his end. BRAD MOODY NEVER SHOWED UP. BRAD MOODY NEVER FOLLOWED UP WITH THE COURTS TO CLAIM HE WOULD REPRESENT BF. WOULDN'T ANSWER THE PHONE CALLS NOT ONLY FROM BF BUT FROM HIS LONGTIME FRIEND WHO TOLD MY BF HE WAS A GOOD HONEST LAWYER. Left BF high and dry. The two ladies/paralegals who did take our calls went above to help us. They were great. BRAD MOODY Remember that name. You've been warned

Brad Moody is a bonafide shark. My son was facing 15 years on a vehicular homicide charge. Brad Moody took the case to trial and absolutely obliterated the state. He's not one for a lot of extra talk--but he is all action. Precise, strategic, and relentless in the courtroom. Brad is a skilled defense attorney who knows how to advocate for his clients effectively. I'm beyond grateful for the outcome and the way he handled this case. Phenomenal job, Brad. Thank you.

Brad Moody may seem like he has your best interest in mind when he's looking to get your money. But when it comes to trial, he will leave you out to dry. At my nephews trial he didn't even show up with his file. He was on his phone the majority of the time just looking at social media. At lunch break he decided to go the bar across the street. He never objected, nor called the expert witness that was on retainer before the trial for an interview. We currently can't even get his full discovery to review what work was done if any. So, unfortunately with terrible representation and little to no defense expressed, my nephew is wrongfully in prison. I know that everyone says that. But truly, everyone who knows this case, including people in the legal profession is shocked that he was found guilty on any charges, let alone sentenced so harshly.

My husband received a letter dismissing his case and the state attempted to reopen it and charge him. Which was double jeopardy. We had a trash public defender who was obviously working with the state to railroad my husband. We hired Derek Law from Sexton & Moody. He got right on the case and was very knowledgeable about the laws. From the day he took the case, my husband did not have to say another word in court. He handled it. Our court date came and he presented the case and explained why the state could not charge him for a case that was already dismissed. The state tried to pull up some BS law and Derek shut it down. The judge ruled in our favor and the case was dismissed. I can't thank them enough. I would recommend this law firm. Now I will say one thing, they are very busy. Be patient with the return calls or emails. Other than that, I would recommend.

Brad Moody may have had good intentions when working on a case for my son and I for a forfeiture case but he failed us! The DA's office contacted Brad with an offer. Brad failed to follow up within the timeline to the DA's office. RESULTS-nothing from the forfeiture!!!! Because Brad received all correspondence from the DA's office we were not aware of the offer until our case came to trial 3 and a half years later!!!!!!! At the conclusion of the trial I approached the courts about the items taken. Reply from the DA's office and Clerk of the Court office: check with your attorney?? I DID!! Brad's reply when approached-"IS that case just being Settled"?? Because Brad was not the criminal attorney but the forfeiture attorney I guess out of curiosity he checked his emails that were sent to him after I contacted him and saw where the DA's office had made an offer. An offer that HE failed to reply to!! He sent an email to the DA after 3.5 years of Brad not replying begging the DA's office to work with him-The DA refused!! Brad then filed some document of appeal BUT the DA's office DID NOT reply back! When Brad was hired he agreed no payment was due until the forfeiture case was settled!! So I guess he feels because nothing was returned from the forfeiture his hands are clean. But dropping the ball does not relieve an attorney of his responsibilities to his clients. I hope other clients have gotten better results from Brad than my son and I.
