Had to give a star to leave review...DON'T give Merrick your money! Get a public defender...would at least do the same but probably better! His paralegal talks a good talk to sell his skills but in the end doesn't fight for you just negotiates with state and doesn't even meet with you before court...he doesn't care what happened or if you're innocent...his paralegal will just promise that he'll make it all go away! Save your hard earned money and go with public defender!

I'm so disappointed and I really hope this turns around.... My husband is represented by this office and they've been great in the past.... This go around, not so much. I called to asked questions and the secretary got weirdly rude and I apologized that the conversation took that turn like that and it got even more awkward. A person like me with no knowledge of how laws and courts work, is going to have questions. She made me feel like an absolute nuisance. And my husbands case is just barely started... people's life depend on the attorney they choose to pay a lot of money to.... Please don't let him down. I don't know nothing but to me this seems like the case is insane and should be thrown out... but what do I know? Nothing, that's why I reached out and got shunned away....

Merritt Senior was my attorney. Started as my attorney for a family law case in 2017. The first year seemed great no problems. But as time went on the were more rude, the assistant did not read my emails, misplaced stuff, they got lazy and ended up doing absolutely nothing at all for me. And now having to go to court for the same exact thing because they did not resolve it. Rescheduled every single court hearing and mediation that we had scheduled. Ended in mediation cause he didn't wanna do his job and keep all the money I paid for not doing anything. Does not care about his clients at all.

Hands down the best attorney in Hinesville. He has handled my case with passion and professionalism. The entire office truly cares and very courteous when you call. I searched and met various attorneys when my case first started. I truly believe god guided my choice.

I would Highly recommend this Law firm!!! They helped me take care of my out of state speeding ticket.Being that I live in Tampa fl and the ticket was in Georgia I was a little worried hiring an out of state attorney. But no worries their staff was great! The parallegal Renate was very nice and very professional and knowledgeable. She helped me through the whole process. Everything worked out for the best! I'm extremely happy I chose Merritt & Grinstead.
