So they were good to me however got call today saying I'm basically to fat to get knee surgery I mean really aren't most that need knee replacement over weight. Stated insurance won't pay if it's not under 4.0 mine is 4.4 not much. Had left one dohe last year with same BMI with different Dr no problem I don't understand the problem..and why the joint class is mandatory with them makes no sense. Last Dr said it's optional but I took it. I printed off all of the things she spoke about so I've already been through it. Hard to make it to appt for class when I only have 1 vehicle bf works and it's hard for me to drive since it's my right knee this time. Dr King was very nice when I met him however the one that does the surgery scheduling seems to be the difficult one so now I'm back to square one tk find another Dr to do my knee surgery which I'm in desperate need bc it hurts to walk or anything bc of this knee. Sucks but I hope it will all work out for me. Good luck bc I don't see issue with a .4 more on BMI keeping me from getting this surgery. I'm so upset and angry all in one. They have known from start about my weight and wait until it's time to schedule to bring it up then instead of saying let's work on getting BMI down they just tell me they can't do my surgery not very professional. Most employees would at least say work on getting BMI down B4 surgery but no I hear it at last minute instead of working with me on trying to get it down. Good luck everyone especially ones that's overweight and probably need the surgery to help with getting around better to lose the weight. Just saying. But PA Jason and Dr King are great from what I can tell but it's just not fair I been crying all evening and on top of that they waited until 430pm to tell me so now I got a wait til tomorrow on Friday to try to find appointment for new Dr.

Dr. Slatky was rude and did not complete the follow up for a possible broken bone. It was treated as a soft tissue injury without ruling out a crack or fracture after several days from the injury. Staff refused to take another Xray after being advised to take one on this day from Advent ER. An injection came in for someone else, who then returned to say it was in fact for me. Overall, it was messy and unprofessional. Refusal for another test after request from both myself and family that required yet another visit just made the situation worse. I don't think I will be returning for a follow up with this facility.

Dr. King and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I had a total knee replacement three weeks ago and there's no bruising a little bit of swelling, which is normal but I'm walking without a walker or a cane. I baked a bread all day yesterday and I haven't been able to do that in a while because of my bone on bone knee pain I feel absolutely blessed and thankful for Dr. King and his staff for making me comfortable through surgery and recovery. I cannot thank them enough.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I am especially impressed with Dr Jeff Kovacic. He performed patella reconstruction surgery on my son several years ago when he practiced in atlanta. He subsequently moved to Advent health in Calhoun and when my son needed additional surgery for Maria injury we chose to travel the 60 Minutes to see him to have him do the surgery. He was that good and very trustworthy. I would recommend him for any sports related orthopedic pediatric surgery. The staff are all so friendly and Dr kovacic is just a downright good person and spends so much time answering questions

Advent Health Gordon Hospital has been a pleasure since the beginning. I had my right hip replaced by Dr. Adam Land. He is an incredible Surgeon and has a fluent way of describing the entire process of the surgery. He definitely cares for all his patients and the icing on the cake for me was when he stopped and prayed with my family and I before surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Land and I'll be using him again for my left hip. And the facility was very very nice.
