Save yourself the displeasure of calling and speaking with Dena Amendola. I had one of the worst phone conversations with a business in my life while speaking with her. When she was asking questions about how correspondence with a certain business ended (related to potential case), she mentioned that she can get quite aggressive in her communications. Apparently, this is not just when she's speaking to businesses, but potential clients as well. At one point during our 15 minute conversation she said I was 'fishy' and accused me of withholding information. I'm not sure how you would expect someone to thoroughly explain a situation that unfolded over almost 2 years in the span of 15 minutes and then make accusations because they cannot fully explain the situation in so little time. She was incredibly demeaning and rude from the beginning of the conversation to the end. When I brought this to her attention near the end of our phone call she demanded I provide examples. When I went to further explain, she repeatedly cut me off and told me she 'prides herself on her professionalism'. I hope the law firm considers how her lack of professionalism and basic respect and kindness reflects poorly on their firm. Had they wanted to take my case I would have declined based on this conversation alone. It seems someone else left another similar review, and I can't help think they probably also spoke with Dena. Client or not, people should not be treated so poorly by your staff, especially given that it was completely unwarranted.
