In life there are so many things that you don't plan for, you don't prepare for, and don't educate yourself on. Not out of negligence or a lack of responsibility, but simply because, you trust that the people who ARE educated on these things to do the right thing. I was involved in a major car crash where a semi truck merged into my vehicle on the highway. I was in the middle lane, it happened in a high traffic area right around 6 am on a weekday. I was driving a small car with my almost 2 year old daughter in the backseat. The accident left nearly two whole lanes of traffic blocked on the highway. Within minutes firetrucks, ambulances and road rangers were on scene literally shoveling the remnants of my car, and my spirit off the roadway and haphazardly dumping them into the front passenger floorboard. Later on an officer was asking me what happened and in my rattled, disoriented state of mind I have no idea what I said to this man nor did I realize the effect the road rangers clearing the scene beforehand would have on his "investigation". He handed me a bunch of papers and I didn't realize until a few days later that somehow, this officer deemed me at fault in the accident when damage to my vehicle so clearly shows otherwise. I felt defeated. I'm a single mom, I have a 5 year old with non verbal autism and a 2 year old my entire world had just been flipped upside down, when already struggle to make ends meet. I was angry, I was scared and I have never felt so helpless and hopeless before in my life. A friend suggested that I call Farah and Farah... I laughed at the idea because I didn't think there was anything that could be done to help me. I didn't think anyone would care to hear to what I had to say and more importantly, how on earth am I going to pay for a lawyer?? I sat down, I silently said a prayer and made the call... to my own surprise I was told they agreed to take my case, I was given my attorney Kaley Dreyers information along with her assistants contact info. I was in the midst of drafting an email to Kaleys assistant when to my surprise, Kaley Dreyer herself reached out to me! This was shocking to me because the Thanksgiving holiday was right around the corner. In that moment, I knew I made the right decision. My case is not resolved yet, I really don't know what the outcome will be but Kaley Dreyer has gone absolutely above and beyond anything I would've ever expected from a personal injury attorney. She set up doctors appointments for me, she has reached out to check on me on multiple occasions. If I call and leave her a voicemail, I immediately get a text message back...in writing this I realized I have never actually spoken to her assistant at all. In fact, what prompted me to write this review -before my case has even been settled- was the fact that my two-year-old just angrily took my phone when I turned off her favorite tv show, I'm not sure if she was seeking legal representation for the unspeakable act I committed or if the call was placed by mistake but I hung up before I even heard a ring, and less than 20 seconds later *DING* Kaley had sent me a text message advising she was out of the office (obviously because it's Saturday) but if I had any questions I could reach her via text. People have so many mixed opinions about attorneys, particularly Injury attorneys, but I will say that Kaley has been a glimmer of hope in my darkest hours. No matter what happens, I am eternally grateful for the time and attention she has given to my case and even me personally. She has never left a call/text unreturned, and has even sent text messages just to check on me. I'm not sure what is going to happen in my case, but I am blessed to have such a compassionate, capable and committed attorney on my side to fight for me, when I had lost the strength to fight for myself. Kaley, if you happen to see this, I want you to know that you have given me the courage to fight another day, and no matter what happens next- you are forever a superstar in my eyes.
