I hired Richard and his firm to handle two of my Lis Pendens cases in 2010. He was able to make the whole process less stressful and on my terms. The bank stopped harassing me and I was able to be more in control of the outcomes. One of properties I short sold about 2 years later after the initial filing. Richard made sure that all liabilities associated with this property were final and cleared of my name. The other property went to trial about 4 years after filing and the judge ruled in our favor. The bank's lawyers thought they had a slam dunk. If it wasn't for Richard's planning, diligence and attention to details, they likely would have. We are now only waiting to see what the mortgagee's next move after almost 6 years of not paying a mortgage payment. I would highly recommend Richard and his firm Shuster & Saben to anyone dealing with a foreclosure suit.

I fought a foreclosure Pro Se and spent many months, even years in and around court. Richard Shuster was one attorney I admired the most as being knowledgeable and helpful. He was winning for his clients and didn't mind an occasional conversation on court decisions.

Awful experience. I signed a contract with Mr. Shuster but was never told that after the contract termination that there would be an additional months fee. I terminated the contract in February of 2015 and was charged for March and April. I contacted him and he agreed that the April charge was in error and would be refunded. My account was charged on April 5, 2015 and today is April 20th and still no refund. I have emailed Mr. Shuster and his secretary and have gotten no response, I have now turned it over to Visa with all his emails. I would never do business with this firm again.
