About FarrLaw

Founded in 1924, Farr Law Firm began when Earl D. Farr ventured out of his hometown of Wauchula with only $500 and a typewriter to open a law office in Punta Gorda. Over time, that one-man law firm grew to become the largest law firm in Charlotte County today.

Client Testimonials

Can't say enough nice things about the Farr team that assisted us with legal documents for our business. Wayne McClanahan exuded the utmost professionalism and was a pleasure to work with! Gavin, Jennifer and Kelsey made the process run smoothly and we appreciate their efforts as well! First class legal team and look forward to working with them again...

I worked with this law firm on a civil litigation matter, and they were absolutely wonderful in keeping me updated on the case as we worked towards a dismissal of a lawsuit against me. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for civil law assistance.

We've done countless real estate closings here and have always had a pleasant experience. The attorneys, paralegals and even front desk staff have always done a superb job with our transactions and handling our customers! (especially Roger, Sherry and Pam!!)

I can't say enough good about this legal group; professional, experts in their field, affordable, informed, personal yet private, respectful, informed. It was an enjoyable process and I am confident that we are protected.

Farr Law Firm makes me believe that, however much I have disliked attorneys in the past, I can still dislike them even more. Do not contact Farr Law Firm if punctuality is important. We signed a contract for $1750 for an estate plan on September 26, 2024 and as of March 7, 2025 still do not have it. Do not contact Farr Law Firm if you want to have your wishes expressed in your estate plan. We have submitted 3 bullet point lists, a revised previous estate plan, had 1 phone call, 1 personal meeting, and exchanged 3 emails to make our wishes known to Nicole. Her last email said, in essence, that we could meet with her to answer any questions we had (we are not going through it again because Nicole has not yet been able to do this,) but that we needed to sign what she had given us because Florida's laws require it. On March 5. 2025, we called to tell Emma, Nicole's assistant, that we needed to put our plan on hold for awhile because we are exhausted and confused from the effort. Today, March 7, 2025, in an uncharacteristic display of extreme punctuality, we received a bill for the entire amount of $1750 and a reminder that we signed a contract. At this point, we are paying the bill just so we don't have to try to explain our final wishes again and again.
