Like many others, I was denied at initial and reconsideration, hired OLF during the recon phase - and prepared for the ALJ phase. I utilized the Disability Academy videos that Nick Ortiz created for assisting clients - these videos are extremely helpful. Tiffanie Turner was instrumental in guiding me along this long process, while coaching me along the way. The ALJ process was very smooth and Nick Ortiz was well-prepared and provided me with key insights prior to my hearing. I used the Academy videos to pull out questions that are likely to be asked - then ensured my answers were somewhat rehearsed. It is very important to emphasize how medical disabilities affect daily living and to highlight those limitations to the ALJ.
