THE FCC OFFICIALLY RULED ON THIS CASE AND FOUND THE ANTENNA VIOLATION ILLEGAL AND THREATENED A $25,000.00 FINE PER DAY IF THE FINE IS NOT REMOVED!! THEY WERE ALSO TOLD THAT THE ANTENNA RULE MUST BE STRICKEN FROM THE DEED RULES AND COVENANTS!
A FEDERAL RULING.
Day 1 and fine remains, documented.
The fine has been silently removed. No apology for the year of hell they put my family through forcing us to involve the Federal Government.

I hired my own personal attorney, suddenly now we get a call back and they insist this is first they have heard of my case. Strange because the HOA EXCEL spreadsheet shows these attorneys approved my fine. How else do they think I got their information? The FCC and I have been sending them emails for months. They stated they are aware of the OTARD rule and they will educate the HOA, who by the way claim it was these attorneys who approved the fine.
I will keep you updated.
They asked that I remove this review. My response is I remove the review when you remove the fine because my review is honest and you can prove it wrong by removing the fine.
Do a quick check, Google, "can HOA stop homeowner from mounting antenna on roof in Florida" the answer comes back as NO, unless a safety concern or historical preservation. You can't just ban antennas on the roof because you don't like how it looks. Illegal!
Apparently this law firm doesn't know how to use Google.
Currently this law firm is trying to enforce a citation for a home antenna that is 25" tall and mounted on a single family residence roof. The FCC is involved in this case. OTARD rule, defined in 1996, clearly states that ONLY the FCC can determine where a home antenna can and cannot be mounted, not the HOA, unless they can prove a safety concern. This information is easily discovered if you know how to use Google Search, something this office apparently doesn't know how to do.
Emails, and phone calls from the FCC have been ignored.
They have been told no fine can be assessed while the FCC is making their determination. They ignored it and even issued an additional fine for over 30 days, this alone is considered a major infraction by the FCC.
EDIT:
The HOA removed the additional fine but did not remove the $1000.00 fine. We are not sure of what purpose that fulfilled but wanted to report it as corrected.
The FCC is getting ready to make their decision which will hopefully punish the HOA with fines, this law firm represents the HOA and has given the HOA board terrible advice. This firm has ignored all warnings.
