I hired Holly on a recommendation from a friend who had used her many years ago. However, my experience with her last year was significantly different. In my initial consultation, Holly was very engaging and even quoted from the Bible; however, every conversation after that was entirely different. I was initially told that I could email in questions and they would be answered by email; however, the only email responses I got were to set up a phone conversation. I have a job with a very unforgiving schedule and I often couldn't get a phone call scheduled in less than 10 days - this was not helpful while I was dealing with a high conflict person. When I did talk to Holly, I left what was nearly always a LONG (expensive) phone conversation even more confused than when I started. I would take extensive notes during each call and often have conflicting notes from different conversations. And it didn't help that she wouldn't put anything in writing in an email, making it her word against mine. To make matters worse, when I did email in with questions and was asked to set up a call to discuss, Holly had never once read the email I had sent before getting on the phone and on one call didn't even have it in front of her - which left her asking why we were talking in the first place. In addition to this, Holly only worked Mon-Thurs from 9-4Pm and took off on Fridays making her even more difficult to get a hold of. Furthermore, Holly left me incredibly unprepared for mediation and did not at all represent my interests during mediation. Ultimately she was not only antagonistic to the other party, but also to me. This was very unhelpful on all fronts. I ultimately switched to a different attorney, who was exactly the calm I needed during this time and who accurately represented me. My 2nd attorney also responded regularly in less than 24hrs with concise information and I was billed accordingly.
