Ira went above and beyond with my divorce. His rate are very reasonable. Tammy in the office was great. Ira actually answers his phone and usually does it himself. If he is unavailable the calls are returned promptly. Very refreshing. His knowledge and counsel are without parallel I can honestly say that his help made all the difference in saving my home.

TLDR: unprofessional, disorganized, does not properly communicate with clients and does not care for clients best interest. What an awful lawyer and professional. I had a case with Ira which took far too long due to his missing deadlines, miscommunications and carelessness. He often would mess up facts on my case and give me conflicting information/ guidance. I have record of the other parties council sending us notices that he missed deadlines. Talking to him also didn't help any of my confidence on the case as he would often laugh off my concerns. I had a balance due after my retainer for which I was not informed about and he himself admitted to never invoicing me for. When I asked to do a payment plan he laughed at me and said that would take too long to pay. I asked him for time to pay him for which he said it was fine. Shortly after I received a letter saying to pay him the whole amount or he would withdraw from the case. I immediately called to ask when the balance was due and never received a callback. I emailed him multiple times and never heard back. Then he emailed me saying he would withdraw if I did not pay or that I could release him as council. To which I said I had been trying to be in communication with him about the balance and then I released him as council.. I got a letter in the mail saying submitted a request to withdraw as council before he even emailed back.. because I could not pay and because I was not in communication with him. Which is a lie because I have the emails to show that I tried to contact him and he simply never replied. I spoke to other lawyers who are trying to take over my case and even they agreed that Ira's behavior was beyond sloppy and what he promised when I contracted him was never feasible. I am beyond disappointed with his representation as it gave me more headaches than the actual case.
