I hired Darby Hertz after being served unexpectedly by my ex husband who was trying to gain custody of my child in family court after he abandoned him as an infant. Darby was thorough straight to the point and got things done with the little time she had after being assigned to the case after nearly two years with a previous lawyer that was an awful experience. The retainer seems daunting but in comparison to what you pay for other lawyers and the terrible experience we had with a previous lawyer she was well worth it.
