I was doing research on real estate attorneys because I need to add my wife's name to the deed of my property. Under the assumption that attorneys are considered service providers, I said "good morning, may I please get a quote for a service?"
Keep in mind they have multiple practice areas. The lady responded "this is not a tire shop, what service are you looking for?"
I thought my ears were playing tricks on me so I asked what she said And she proceeded to repeat the same thing "this is not a tire shop." With that, I told her never mind and to have a wonderful day.
I mean I didn't think I was asking for a lot other than some common human decency. You don't talk to people that way... maybe she was just having a bad day, I don't know but that was so wrong. While I can't speak for the actual work they can accomplish as attorneys, I can tell you customer service is not one of their strong suits.
