I would have loved to post this sooner but I have been going crazy to undo the mess that she caused my fiancee if there was a way to give negative stars I would. Absolutely the worst attorney experience we could have imagined. From start to finish, it felt like she was working for my fiancee's ex-wife instead of us. In the end, the ex walked away with everything she wanted, including a parenting plan completely on her terms. This lawyer never fought for my fiancee, not once, and yet still managed to charge us over $10,000 for what should have been a simple divorce. Even the judge was shocked it dragged on for more than two years. Every time we asked her to stand up and fight, she had an excuse for why we shouldn't. There were multiple times she skipped our appointments because she had to take her daughter somewhere, and when we did get a meeting, she would cut us off the second our time was up -- whether we were finished or not. On top of that, reaching her was next to impossible. Communication was a nightmare, and when we finally did reach her, she spent more time contradicting us than actually supporting us. The parenting plan she let pass is beyond ridiculous. Somehow, a 10- and 12-year-old were given more rights than a 17-year-old, and she didn't challenge it once. She folded at every turn, never pushed back, and left us with an outcome that made absolutely no sense. If you want an attorney who will waste your time, drain your money, contradict everything you say, and hand the other side exactly what they want, then she's the one. If you actually want someone to fight for you, protect your rights, and care about your case, stay far away. You'd be better off representing yourself. And before she tries to say this review isn't valid because she didn't "represent me" directly -- it is 100% valid. I went through every step of this process with my fiancee, and I saw firsthand just how poorly this case was handled.

I was very dissatisfied with the lack of customer service from Milene Hernandez office staff. Referred by my legal plan, I scheduled an appt a week prior for an appt that turned out to be outside of business hours (5:30pm-6pm), after adjusting my tight work and single father schedule to make time for it. Also to find out I had to pay for a review fee, which their staff failed to mention when scheduling me for the appt. I do appreciate that they were going to waive that fee for me as a courtesy because I wasn't told about it initially and when addressing it was told that the other staff must have made a mistake or an exception. However, they'd have to reschedule the date and type of visit (from Zoom to telephonic). I told them I appreciate them waiving the review fee for me, but if that "mistake or exception" can be honored? The next correspondence I received from their staff was: "Hi Jason, this is Evelyn, please contact your legal plan to get a referral for a new attorney. Thank you" Then received an updated appt reminder titled "DO NOT RESCHEDULE/ CANCELLED BY THE FIRM" with notes attached saying "Milene said he is too complicated and not to reschedule him". A firm has no idea what someone is going through until they get to speak with that person about it, but if this is how business is conducted at Milene Hernandez office, I don't want it. If staff doesn't know the time their office and attorney stops conducting business for the day, or what they charge for consultations, or fail to mention basic details, I don't know what else they don't know. Let alone being part of a larger network that others get referred to and displaying that type of customer service to a potential client who is in need of legal assistance. When getting legal counsel, as many know, it's a not always a lighthearted situation, so a client is looking for a firm with people who seem to know what they're doing to give them advise. I rather not run that kind of risk in any matter that I'm looking for legal support. I'm sure everyone has their own experiences... but mine was not pleasant. So yes, I will find another attorney. I'm super happy with her services she is super attentive, she's communicates every chance she gets and has you updated with what's going on. The best part is you speak to her directly, not an assistant all the times you call. She makes you feel like your case is important, My previous lawyer was horrible, never did I feel her treat my case like Milene did. She always did her best to get issues resolved in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend.
