Michael assisted me in an appeal and exceeded my expectations. He handled the entire situation efficiently, professionally, and was very personable. His experience and good report with the local legal system also proved to make the whole process go smoothly. 10/10 would recommend!

Mr. Barnette is a top-notch lawyer. From my initial consultation with him to the final stages of my divorce proceedings his knowledge and expertise was instrumental in protecting my interest. His knowledge, experience and work ethic helped me navigate this life changing event. His staff is phenomenal also. Always kept me informed or assisted me when I needed. He is a man of his word and cares for his clients and their best interest.

Astronomical $5,000 retainer fee. Also requests thousands more for a simple divorce with no property or assets. He charges $250 an hour, and supposedly spends hours on correspondence with you and the opposing party's attorney and filing. He speaks very arrogantly and in the weakest moments of my life I felt like he took advantage of it.. I would not recommend this attorney because he simply does not truly care about you, your family or situation, he just wants to empty your pocket to fill his.

I hired Mr. Barnette to handle a family law matter. He listened, understood the situation, and did not waste any time getting started on my case. His paralegal, Annemarie, is personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and always took time to explain the latest developments in the case in a way that made it easy for me to understand.
