Buckmaster & Ellzey

It was a scary day indeed when a relative of ours relayed to us the trouble he had gotten himself into. He had always been a good caring soul who, it appeared, had been taken advantage of. A detective was now wanting to interview our relative and we knew we needed some professional help and FAST. Through a friend we found Attorney Buckmaster. The moment we met him, a sense of peace came upon us. He was such a good listener and laid out the good, the bad and the ugly of how things could go. It was now a waiting game between Attorney Buckmaster and the Sheriff's office. Within 8 days, the situation was resolved and we all breathed a sigh of relief. We knew going in this would not be easy for Attorney Buckmaster, but we trusted him and knew he would do his very best. His staff which included Laney set our minds at ease with any questions we had, and she sent out her Friday summary as she said she always does for clients. We will forever be grateful to Attorney Buckmaster and his staff.

I would pick this firm over and over again if I ever needed it (although, I would not recommend going through another divorce - 0/10 stars). Attorney Cantrell and Paralegal Morgan were wonderful and helpful in so many ways, I wish I had them from the start. Att. Cantrell laid out all my options and never once did I feel blindsided by the situation I was in or feel like he didn't have my back. Do it, get an attorney for your divorce and pick this firm and save yourself the headache. They know what they are doing.

Not only did they take on my case late in the game but they got up to speed and had future plans before our consultation and had answers to all of my questions during this same meeting. I cannot say enough great things about everyone at Buckmaster and Ellzey. I struggled with my divorce for 2 years and was let down by other attorneys previously. Everyone here listen to my situation and worked with me to get everything finally resolved. They went above and beyond to make sure that I had the assistance that I needed to finalize everything. I was actually really excited when my son was appointed a guardian for his custody case. I thought he would finally have the chance to give his input to the court. My son was about 16 at this time. Mr. Ellzey spent about 5 hours total with my son in almost 2 years. He spent over 25 hours with his father, though.... my son told Mr. Ellzey he was unsafe with his father. Mr. Ellzey laughed about it in court and said my son was just strong willed. My son wrote Mr. Ellzey a letter outlining all of the crimes his father had committed... Mr. Ellzey laughed about it in court and said he should become a lawyer. Never once did Mr. Ellzey take anything my son was saying seriously and he definitely had no concern for my son's interests or being my son's voice. Add to that insanely high hourly fees and allowing his father to stack up charges that I had to pay half of just to keep talking and meeting for no reason and this was an extremely disappointing experience.
