I've purposely waited until completion plus some to leave this review. I will start by stating that my experience involved a significant irs debt created by a ex business partner that I've been fighting for 13 years. Thousands were spent. Some went away. I was under 2 years from being free due to statute of collection expiring when it turned very bad for me. Although I had very little consumer debt, bankruptcy was the only option due to impending garnishment amount. I spoke with several attorneys who quickly turned conversation to chapter 13. My situation is well documented and I was not wanting to pay for something that I did not in fact owe. Mike immediately spoke of chapter 7 after I explained in length and detail. Mike was patient with the time it took where others were very quick to the end of our conversation. He did explain that 13 was possible but very slim chance which I can appreciate the honesty. I was very happy with the meeting and immediately paid in full. Although the process was stressful and so much paperwork, it went well. I one issue with a paralegal that did not communicate well or return calls. That was handled though. If I had questions or a concern it was handled well. Unfortunately, due to my situation, we had more than 1 hearing. Mike handled the hearings with professionalism and spoke to me before and after to address any questions and to give guidance. In the end, even with individuals in the hearings stating my case should be chapter 13, Mike stuck to the plan and used case law and facts to correct them and kept me in chapter 7. I want to personally thank Mike and his team for getting me through a horrible time but finally giving me closure and removing a huge weight I've carried for years.

Mike Ziegler is an outstanding attorney. I did not have a complicated case in terms of asset variety but I did have a hurdle in having received a Disability settlement, which from my research should have been considered Exempt or at least had an opportunity to be deemed so. I consulted with about 5 highly rated attorneys when I knew I had to do BK. These experiences were all over the place but mostly poor. One acknowledged me being a legitimate candidate but said he had to get back to me on the Exempt piece. He proceeded to ghost me for nearly a month and ignore my follow ups. Another told me I did not qualify outright and was totally incompetent with rude staff. Richard Dauval, who was good but got too high of a caseload in the time between our consult, ultimately referred me here. Despite the roundabout process, I know I ended up in the best hands. Mike was clear, prompt and detailed in all his explanations to my numerous questions. He achieved exactly what I desired, without any hiccups. I have already recommended Mike to others and will continue to do so.
