When I think of the injustice I was faced with and how vulnerable I was with an illegal roofing contractor lien and foreclosure threat on my home that I've lived in for 24 years, it's not easy to find the words to adequately describe the depth of my gratefulness for Ms Colucci and the Colucci Law Group being available to me for four years. It was a frightening and hopeless feeling up against both the local Southport/Panama City roofing contractor and the Bay County building services after a new total roofing system was installed and completed with multiple county code violations, multiple GAF installation violations including loose deck-board hanging down in the attic space. I was forced to court because I wouldn't pay until corrections were made and the county ignored my multiple requests for help. I was forced into a situation totally out of my control with no means to figure it out and know what to do, by myself, while caring for my dying dad in my home. I was forced into a legal system with no experience. On April 9, 2024, exactly four years from the date that the roofing company finished their 2020 substandard roof job on my house, Ms Colucci and her paralegals drove six hours to Panama City Florida and they stood with me before my jurors at trial while strangers decided my fate. Attorney Colucci is current on courtroom technology and uses it with zooming witnesses and presenting evidence. Attorney Colucci is incredibly FOCUSED on everything said in the courtroom and knows when to object and immediately provide correction and clarification on the law, on testimonies and in evidence to help ensure accuracy. She is quick to deliver persuasive arguments, and doesn't hesitate to argue motions during pretrial. There are not many trial attorneys with the skill set of Ms Colucci. I met Candice Colucci at a local event in September of 2020 here in Louisiana shortly after Hurricane Laura. I observed her work for sometime and decided she was the one for my Hurricane claim. Because this was my first time having to deal with anything of this nature, I lacked any type of knowledge. I was facing over thirty years in prison for a felony, 2 counts, aggrevated assault on LEO. I thought my life was pretty much done.
