Originally another lawyer at his firm was representing me, she left the firm without notifying me a day after we lost the hearing. Nobody in the Glaros firm notified me either, she gave my case to Mr. Glaros. I was never able to speak to him about my case, when told I had evidence he did not consider it or present it to the judge. When I asked to make an appointment with him I was told he was either too busy or out of office. Even after contacting his paralegal and Lisa the office manager several times to schedule appointment no success. Instead of Mr. Glaros directly speaking to me about terminating representation and what to do next he filed termination of representation with the court. He stated it was due to "limited appearance" however that was supposed to be amended and filed with the court when the firm represented me during mediation, but it never was. Currently I have filed a complaint with the bar, and will hire new representation.

I hired Mr. Steven Glaros in May 2017 to represent me at a Family Law court appearance. The DOR has made a number of recording errors including billing for support of my youngest child who turned 18 and graduated High School three and a half years ago. During this process, we agreed to recalculate arrears and submit it to the courts which would have ended the complaint. That never got done. For months, I sent dozens of emails and made numerous phone calls to Mr. Glaros and never got a returned call from him. He once boasted that he had over 300 Personal Injury clients. Typically, his paralegal would call or respond to an email and let me know she would pass on my request. At one point, I couldn't even get a response from the paralegal and later found out she took a month off to study for the Bar while my case was being neglected. Eventually, I was forced to file a complaint with the Florida Bar. This did seem to get his attention but only for a short while. This is February 2018 and I still have yet to see the recalculation of arrears. I have now reopened my complaint with the Florida Bar. Equally important, I want to share what you get if you hire this attorney. If time is of the essence and your case is important to you, don't hire this attorney.
