Where do I begin? Short version is I raised my son as a single dad for 7 years. Last year his Mom came around saying "I'm feeling maternal now" and out of nowhere said she is taking him to a new town and a new school and that I could come visit on the weekends. I was in shock that someone would come in after 7 years and since now they felt like being a parent they could take my child's great, stable life and turn it upside down taking him away from loving family, school friends and neighborhood friends. She didn't think about his life, just her own and what she wanted when it's convenient for her. Needless to say I was a mess, scared and wondering if she could actually do this and the answer was YES she could unless I took immediate action. A friend and local judge referred me to Jennifer Dane and she took the ball and ran with it. Within 3 days she had papers served on the mother stopping her legally from taking my son out of his school and his home. One year later I have an amazing parenting plan that works perfectly for both parents and stops her from following through with any other crazy ideas about moving a child from an A rated school and an A rated Dad. Extremely Disappointed - Felt Misled and Dismissed I left my $100, 30-minute consultation with Attorney Kim feeling disappointed, crushed, and frankly, taken advantage of. I was hoping for sound legal guidance during a very stressful and complex custody situation--but instead, I received no actual legal assistance beyond being told to get counseling for my daughter and to contact DCF. DCF later confirmed they do not get involved in the kind of situation I described--so this was not just unhelpful advice, it was wrong legal guidance. What further upset me most was the dismissive, condescending tone throughout the call, which felt more like I was speaking with a paralegal reading off a script than a licensed attorney who understood or cared about the urgency and nuance of my case. I came in vulnerable and seeking support, and left feeling patronized and ignored. What makes this even more frustrating is that I had a free consultation with Anderson Law that provided far more useful and detailed legal guidance in half the time. I'm now left skeptical about this firm's intentions--because from my experience, it felt like the goal was to collect a consultation fee without providing any real value or follow-through. I strongly urge others to explore other firms before committing your time and money here.

I had no idea of what entitles a legal process and I never expected to get thru this situation honestly. All the legal staff and Michelle were amazing.
