Nate helped us refinance a few months ago. The process was very smooth and Nate is very easy to work with. Recently had some concerns regarding the refinance and Nate responded to our questions immediately, provided legal advice promptly to help us sort thru our concern with the mortgage company. Highly recommend and will use Nate again if needed.

Nathaniel Shipp was recommended to us by Dagny's Real Estate (a local agency in Wilton). My husband and I did not have a good experience working with Nate on the purchase of our home. I should have known that Nate was not the home closing attorney for us when he had ZERO comments on our proposed real estate contact from the seller which was based on a very old pro forma. We had a complicated, delayed closing and Nate did nothing to help clarify or speed up the process. A closing date was specified in the contract, the seller did not abide by the date and Nate said there was nothing we could do. I had to jump through hoops to find a temporary place for us to live at a higher expense. I can not recommend Nate or Dagny's real estate. Find someone else - there are lots of better choices!

Great experience and highly recommended. Nate and Nicole were very patient and understanding throughout the entire process. There was a "difficult" buyer's attorney on the other side of the table and Attorney Shipp kept everything on an even keel.

Fantastic law firm. They have a deep understanding of the law, Nate and Laurie work hard to get the best outcome for energy situation.
