As a long-standing client of Attorney Yona's office, I expected professionalism and effective communication. Unfortunately, my experience has fallen short in multiple respects. From the onset, it has been exceedingly difficult to speak directly with Attorney Yona. Despite my numerous attempts to reach her, I have been unable to establish direct communication. The staff who answer the phone are frequently unprofessional, rude, and dismissive, often hanging up without providing adequate assistance. They seem defensive, lacking basic customer service skills and any awareness of client care. Additionally, my cases have been mishandled, resulting in crucial mistakes. Affidavits have gone missing, deadlines were missed, and critical updates were not communicated to me. In one case, an attorney unfamiliar with my situation was sent, appearing out of touch and unprepared to represent me effectively. In another instance, a seemingly inexperienced attorney handled a case so poorly that an eviction matter was lost to a tenant who had no legal representation. After six cases and a substantial investment of approximately $6,000, I finally requested a conversation with Attorney Yona to discuss these issues directly. I was informed that a charge of $75 per 15 minutes would apply. When I expressed my concerns, the call was abruptly terminated. This experience has been disheartening, particularly given my loyalty as a client. I believe prospective clients deserve transparency regarding the service provided by Attorney Yona's office and should consider these factors carefully.
