I had an outstanding experience with Messier, Massad, Burdick & Associates, LLC. From start to finish, the team was professional, responsive, and truly cared about my case. I worked directly with Alexa, and she was absolutely amazing -- knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly thorough every step of the way. She took the time to explain everything clearly, kept me updated, and made what could have been a stressful process feel manageable and smooth.

Great local law firm in eastern CT. My contact at the firm is Alexa Powers. She's detailed, knowledgeable, compassionate and will handle your case from beginning to end. I highly recommend them for any of your legal matters. Even if they do handle it in house, they have a large network of outside council that can help.

This firm is not to be trusted. I retained them for four separate cases. Unfortunately, they took so long to get us any money, that we were forced to move out of state. Once we moved, they barely did any work on our case, settled for much less than they should have, and then didn't even go after two of the complaints I hired them for. I'm the sole wage earner married to a disabled military veteran, and I've been having trouble keeping employment because I'm still in pain every day from my injuries that were improperly treated due to the doctor this firm sent me too. After he refused to see me for no reason, they refused to help me find other care. So my injuries were just never treated. When I asked them recently why they didn't sue my former employer who fired me after reporting sexual harassment and asking for a CT state family leave for a week after my husband almost died, they told me they couldn't because many of their clients get insurance through Bouvier. That is an undisclosed conflict of interest and something that violates the standards for legal ethics. Both my attorney and the firm's owner did not return my last call, and they've done nothing to resolve this. I had worked with Alan Messier professionally for years and trusted him as a father figure. That trust was obviously very misplaced. I'm not being forced to file an ethics complaint with the state due to their lack of resolution on this. If this firm treats their friends like this, how are they treating everyone else?
