How is this guy still practicing law???? Nearly assaulted me in his office years ago when I had retained him for a personal injury case when my son got attacked by a dog, because I criticized him for asking his wife, who is not even an attorney but just works as his receptionist etc., for advice when he couldn't figure out what to do years ago during my son's personal injury case I had retained him for, because of his apparent state of mental decline.. he was literally pleading with his wife asking her "What should I do?' As if he was going to his mommy to ask for help. It was truly pathetic and truly unprofessional and I will never forget it. When I criticized him for asking his wife what "he should do" and told him he shouldn't be asking her for legal advice, literally leapt out of his chair and literally rushed towards me as though he were going to assault me. I actually had to file a police report afterwards. This man should have retired long ago. Definitely dealing with mental decline issues and he will certainly ruin your case if you entrust it to him. He lied to me about being able to represent my young son in court in a dog attack personal injury case if it did go to court, when that eventually happened he waited until THEN to tell me that he didn't like to go to trial because apparently he has some kind of social anxiety and insecurity issues, probably due to what seems to be his deteriorating cognitive state which I'm assuming might be related to dementia. He was telling me about his brother who was schizophrenic or something when I first met him for our initial consultation and he just acted totally unprofessionally the whole time my young son and we're involved with him, and I should have dumped him but unfortunately didn't have time to hire another attorney. Biggest mistake of my life. He threw away my entire case and also charged me his office fees and so on.....and he had this guy who had just graduated from Quinnipiac Law School, Rich Pompano, go with me to court instead of himself because he said he didn't like to go to court, which he never told me initially. I wish the attorney who referred me to him had not done so. Because it caused me to lose my son's personal injury case which was a very good one. Again, Charlesworth misrepresented himself as being the lawyer who would handle my case and he basically had the whole case handled by a guy who just got out of law school who didn't even know what he was doing. He literally has no right to still be practicing law. Unreal that he still is. He did nothing for my son in his personal and unabashedly lied about his intentions of representing us properly. I will never forget how bad this guy was. Definitely the worst attorney I've ever had.
