We hired The Law Office of Chris D Hefty to write up several important documents such as will, medical power of attorney, financial power of attorney and a living will. Chris explained each document and how it would impact our lives. An appointment was set in a timely manner. When we returned to sign our documents we had a few questions we wanted to clarify. Chris was very receptive to explaining again as we were signing. We did not feel rushed and the experience was very professional. His fees have always been reasonable. Chris is dishonest and even worse, incompetent. I've known Chris for 5+ years and trusted him as a friend but he is not a man of his word and I strongly recommend if you do end up working with him to get everything in writing and to not trust his 'word'. Chris has also developed a visible tremor and constantly forgets important dates. His assistant Nancy is actually his wife and an especially unpleasant person as well. There are many attorneys in Colorado and I would strongly recommend working with anyone but Chris. I have personally witnessed a superior court judge in 2022 question Chris' ability to perform as an attorney and despite agreeing with the judge, I mistakenly vouched for Chris because I felt sorry for my friend.he also uses the Alias 'Craig Biggs'.
