Andrew Peters has been a great attorney for my daughter who was assumed to be the aggressor in a fight between her and her husband. When we met with Andrew he was so kind and (of course) knowledgeable and he knew exactly what needed to be done for her. We paid him a flat fee and it wasn't cheap but, money well spent. Ultimately, her husband has admitted to being the aggressor and that she was defending herself against him. To the judges and DA, it is something that happens all the time called a recanting of the charges, and it oftentimes won't help. However, her husband met with Andrew to give an affidavit of his statement to turn in to the DA and the judge. After turning herself, into the Sheriff- because of the warrant, she had no other choice but to turn herself in. She has stated she defended herself. It didn't matter since her husband was the accuser. It is all about the one who calls the cops. Andrew called us and said we could watch the video from the officer's body cam. The DA- as of yesterday has dismissed all the charges and Andrew has also asked for the record to be sealed. And nothing about this case will not show up on any background check.
