Whatever just transpired between Burnham law and I was not how business is supposed to be done and this has created severe trust issues for me. I hired them to fight a complete lie on my name and all the evidence is there that I'm not guilty and all they did was suck all my money they knew I had while feeding me false hope then when they knew I ran out of money that was more then enough to take a misdemeanor to trial they asked for another $7500. That would have been a total of $12,500 for a misdemeanor case. They did absolutely nothing for me. They entered into my case, then changed lawyers on me which pushed it out another court date so they could take more money from me then switched it back to my original attorney. Between the 3 attorneys not one tried to get my charge dismissed or fight on my behalf instead they backed me in a corner and told me to pretty much take a deal now that I'm out of money or come up with another $7500. I obviously can't afford to pay that much so they stepped away from my case. I asked them to send me the final bill which believe me they don't deserve and I paid it. They then continued to send me 2 more bills after the final bill so I emailed them to ask what was going on and all they said was they are closing out my case? I have never felt more betrayed, hustled, or disgusted in my life and I can't believe this is the point we have reached where you can't even trust the professional help you pay that takes an oath to help defend you. I did not deserve this kind of treatment and I didn't deserve any to post this but I want to save someone else from having to experience this because something like this being mishandled could ruin someone's life and everything they have worked for.

We did all the work for a pre-litigation letter. The firm synthesized it, (incorrectly twice) and mailed it via USPS in October. It is mid-December and the letter has not been delivered (the firm wants more money to attempt delivery another way.) This firm did basically nothing for the 5k+ we paid them. We are out the money we were looking to recoup from a shady contractor plus money paid to this firm. We feel taken advantage of twice over.

Miguel Mondragon and his legal assistant Shannon Morris did the bare minimum and made me pay for it. Now after having spent $15,000 on his services my child's mother who is addicted to drugs got everything she wanted in court. On top of that their communication with me during the process was almost non existent. If you are paired with either one of these "professionals" immediately ask for a new team. This review was my only recourse and I was only treated decently while trying to get them to stop randomly billing me even after no communication with MM or SM for over 4 weeks. I hope my misfortune becomes someone else's salvation.

When no other lawyer would take me on due to the complexity of my case with my ex, Lauren did. She and Allison were always available, worked hard to get me the best of what was possible and were kind, professional and never wasted a moment (penny). I'm so glad I had them watching my back and on my team.
