Do NOT hire this guy! He scammed me out of $8000 when I was at an incredibly weak point in my life. The "deal" he got me was the basic deal the DA offered; I could have gotten the same result if I had not hired him and represented myself. He was consistently late to court meetings, difficult to get in touch with, and he did not read the emails I sent him regarding my case. DO NOT HIRE MARK RUBINSTEIN

He was helpful and answered my questions and got my case a very favorable plea deal he was very busy but made room for me every way he could

Mark was a wonderful attorney to work with and did a great representing our daughter. He is incredibly knowledgeable and very personable. We had a very tough case to deal with and with his representation we were able to get through it with a very good outcome. Mark is very professional straightforward and one of the better attorneys in western Colorado. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing help with serious legal matters

I paid Mark Rubinstein $2000 as a retainer to represent me on a traffic case. My case never got filed with the courts and when I showed up for court I was surprised they had no such case with my name. Mark then pocketed the (in my opinion) un-earned $2000. When I later asked for my money back he has been ignoring my calls and my messages I leave with his receptionist. I had to dispute the charge with my bank to finally get a refund. Mark if you're reading this, you know what you did was wrong. Shame on you. Update: Mark ended up sending me an invoice for $2199. Thats 200 dollars more than what he originally said my case would cost. This is after a dismissal at no credit to Mr. Rubinstein as the case was never filed he cannot take credit for the dismissal. He says this is for 5.6 hours of his time. Mr. Rubinstein did send a total of 2 emails to a couple of people at the courthouse and showed up with me to court (5 minutes late I might add) which is a short distance from his home. 5.6 hours for 2 emails and a trip to the courthouse. He decided to be a nice guy and give me a "discount" and I ended up owing him $1000 even. No sense fighting an attorney over his own documentation of time and effort but I find it hard to believe that an already dismissed case requires so much attention and all these hours that it ended up being more expensive than it would be to actually have my day in court. Just doesn't make much sense if you ask me. Read his other negative reviews on yelp. He gives the same copy/paste response he gave me.

Mark did a wonderful job of guiding me thru the process of a first DUI charge and was able to get that charge lessened to a DWAI. I was from out of state and Mark was very quick to call me back and explain my options so that I had a clear understanding of what to expect from the start.
