Stop and take the time to read the yelp reviews. We had to call the cops today because of her. She is a very highly disorganized attorney that will take your money and run. I'm in the process of filing a complaint with the bar association. She actually was hired by my girlfriend to help with a divorce. My girlfriend paid $2,500 with the understanding Eleanor would handle it. A year and so later it's still not done. Most of work was done by my girlfriend and her ex husband. Per the Bar association she is supposed to bill her clients each month for services. Not only was she not billed but Eleanor also lost her attorney agreement form? Very unprofessional. My girlfriend received one bill a year later saying she was billed for things she wasn't aware of or agreed with. Highly unethical and against the law. On top of that her ex and my girlfriend had to come up with a settlement themselves as this attorney didn't even respond to her exes settlement. She will try and postpone your case so she can make us much money as possible. We brought her the settlement today and she wouldn't listen to her client my girlfriends request and settle what was agreed in writing with her ex and her. She insulted her for wanting less and was very rude to her. I told Eleanor she wants to settle can you please do what she asks. Eleanor then asked me to leave and wouldn't give her a bill or file. As we walked outside Eleanor's son got very irate and pulled a knife on me. We called the police. Stay way from this lady she's bad news.

Please think twice before hiring her as your attorney. She is good until you pay initial deposit, as soon as she gets the initial amount after that nothing will be done on time and professional .Also, she gave us worse advice ever. Luckily we switched to another attorney and they told us all those things are possible and worthy which she advised not a good idea to go for.

This lady deserves a cape.. she jumped right in and saved us from something so terrible. You 100% need her in your life. She was smart, professional, and PERSONABLE! She returns your phone calls, and helps you understand every little detail of your case. Her attitude is amazing, and it's pretty rare to find a KIND attorney. Love her, our family is indebted to Ms. Bordsen.
