I recently completed my bankruptcy case with this office, and while the case was ultimately filed, processed, and finalized successfully, my experience was mixed. In the beginning, the communication felt clear and supportive, which is exactly what you need when you're going through something as stressful as bankruptcy. I appreciated the initial patience and the kindness of the staff. However, as the case progressed, the communication became inconsistent and significantly slower. Several important details I had provided were not reflected accurately in the paperwork -- including missing creditors, timeshares, and updates that I specifically notified them about. I trusted that these corrections would be made, and unfortunately some were never updated. Toward the end, I spoke to someone who assured me the changes would be made, but I never received a follow-up and the corrections were never completed. There was also confusion regarding my reaffirmation, and I was transferred to someone who didn't seem knowledgeable about the process, which added more stress to an already overwhelming situation. Another concern was the fact that I initially consulted with one lawyer (the reason I chose the firm), but throughout the process I ended up being handed off to two different attorneys I had never spoken with before. I found that unprofessional and disconnecting, especially for something as personal and important as bankruptcy. Overall, my case did get completed and finalized, but I believe the experience could have been much smoother with better attention to detail and more consistent communication. I hope they take this feedback constructively, because people going through bankruptcy are already under tremendous stress and truly rely on their attorney to handle things accurately and with continuity.
