The outcome is favorable, and they were willing to take on a smaller case like mine which had been declined by 3 other firms. Once an offer was made the staff was responsive and courteous in explaining my options and their recommendations - and the process of signing off, receiving an explanation of what was deducted from the settlement, and getting the net funds was smooth and painless. However, up to that point there had been about 9 months of silence. I received no communication from them about my case other than the few times I reached out to ask - and this includes about 3-4 weeks of silence after signing the fee agreement and officially hiring the firm. Twice, about three months apart, I was told that the reason for this was because they were switching case management software. The attorneys sent a demand letter to the insurance company without consulting me or explaining what was being asked for in my name and also put down the wrong date for the accident. Although the outcome is good it is hard to give a ringing endorsement for this firm due to the lack of communication during the vast majority of my case - I understand that there is nothing to do but wait for long stretches but the complete silence left me wondering when things were going to proceed, how, and what to expect.
