I almost lost my property because my attorney, Amanda Jaeger, incorrectly listed one of my assets as belonging to my ex-spouse. When I caught the mistake myself, she tried to bill me $425 to correct it. Her explanation was that it appeared that way on opposing counsel's form -- yet she never reviewed my submission before filing. I had to contact the head of the firm multiple times before they finally wrote off the charge. Their billing practices are excessive -- even a short email between us or brief call costs over $400 -- and communication was poor throughout. I truly would have been better off handling my own research and filings. They closed my account with a zero balance instead of refunding the small amount I had left on retainer. Red flag of dishonesty and scam! Overall, this experience caused me so much frustration, stress and nearly cost me valuable property. I would not recommend this firm based on the lack of diligence and accountability I experienced.
