I didn't want to retain an attorney but had to. My ex husband forced my hand by getting himself an attorney. I couldn't have made a better choice than to retain Paula. She was very informative in what to expect. She made the process easy to digest and ensured all my documents were filed on time. As they say, in divorce there are no winners. However, I felt like she helped me win my dignity back after my lying, cheating husband sabotaged me. Was it worth the money spent? Yes. My biggest regret was representing myself early on. First off... Yes, the attorney does smell like cigarettes but hey all geniuses chain smoke (Oppenheimer and Einstein did). If you want a genius to work on your case retain this firm. I was facing a few accusations from my partner all of which were not true but would have left me without access to my children. Thankfully, Attorney Fischer ran some discovery on my ex partner that exposed the lies. I am grateful everyday for his amazing work on restoring custody.
